Digital stuff of the day. Reebok Hunt for the Pump

You’ve probably run around the block, up a hill, and maybe even through a wall. But you’ve never raced across the Internet.

Introducing Hunt for the Pump. The first-ever run through Instagram. Head to @zpump_startingline and search for the hidden pump in the San Francisco scene. Like the photo with the pump, then follow the tag to run to the next stop along the route.
Find and like all the pumps, and make it to the finish line and you could take home a pretty sweet prize.

The all-new ZPump shoes. For, you know, your non-Instagram runs.

Experience of the day. Animation of the Ford GT Light Sculpture in the heart of Milan

via designboom.com

In Piazza San Fedele, Milano, Ford offers visitors a disruptive and engaging product experience, showcasing how Ford design shapes form and function.

The sculpture inside the blue box – a “speed form” created by Ford Design – is protected by a thin, perforated metallic panel. Emerging – literally rising – from a milky, liquid surface, at first the sculpture is unrecognizable. Tapping into the power of design, Ford takes visitors through an emotional journey, delivering a surprising experience unlike any other.

The form slowly transforms from what seems to be a recognizable shape into something revolutionary. Ultimately, what’s revealed is an overhead view of Ford GT – an all-new supercar that serves as a technology showcase for top EcoBoost® performance, aerodynamics and lightweight carbon fiber construction.
