The Japanese siren gets lost in Takcom's digital playground
From the idyllic southern prefecture of Aichi, Japan, Noah’s dreamscape R&B sees the vocalist and composer draw inspiration from both her snowcapped, ethereal hometown and contemporary electronics. “Flaw” contrasts Noah’s luna sound with director Takcom’s jarring deus ex machina in the form of a ghostly dancer amid shimmering landscapes. Takcom, aka Takafumi Tsuchiya’s, digital alchemy connects the dots between his varied collaborators, from avant-garde cult artist Daito Manabe through to the hyper J-pop of Perfume, one of Japan’s most internationally successful girl bands. Signed to Tokyo’s acclaimed independent label Flau, headphones await Noah’s forthcoming celestial pop debut, Sivutie.

stampa.
In occasione della Giornata Mondiale della Libertà di Stampa, l’organizzazione “Reporter senza Frontiere” lancia un’iniziativa dal
linguaggio fortemente provocatorio.
“The Bullshit Face Project” nasce con l’obiettivo di richiamare l’attenzione del pubblico sul pericolo di un’informazione parziale e
faziosa: quotidianamente, infatti, gli esponenti politici, a prescindere dal
loro orientamento e dalla loro posizione, rilasciano in completa libertà dichiarazioni più o meno verosimili.
Dichiarazioni che, in assenza di un accurato lavoro di verifica da parte di
giornalisti e reporters, i cittadini sono costretti a considerare attendibili,
anche quando si tratta di vere e proprie “bullshit”. Da qui l’idea di raccogliere 5 kg di veri escrementi di mucca e utilizzarli come
materia prima per realizzare i ritratti di sette politici e relative dichiarazioni. Un progetto artistico
unico del suo genere, da cui è nata una campagna stampa di forte impatto realizzata da
Salvatore Zanfrisco (illustratore e art director), sotto la direzione creativa
di Sergio Spaccavento.

Can a child's drawing make a parent a safer driver? See how Volkswagen installed a simple reminder of a loved one, that slowed drivers at the exact moment they thought of speeding.
One family had no recorded speed infringements after the installation of the personalised speed dial.
One family reduced their top speed by 19kmh from a max of 123km to a max of 104km.
Half of the drivers’ maximum speeds reduced after fitting their personalised speed dial.
Three out of the four drivers reduced their incidence of speeding in 100km zones by 50%.
Overall, all of the families reduced their speed in multiple driving situations.
