For streamers on live streaming video platform Twitch, the main source of income is donations made by viewers. When a viewer makes a donation, they can add a personalised message that is read aloud by a bot during the live stream. Last week, Burger King USA hijacked this feature and made small donations to streamers under the username The_King_Of_Stream_US. Each donation matched the price of a summer promotional offer, such as $1 for a mini-shake or $5 for a Whopper.

Automotive ad of the day. Honda #StayHome - Until we drive again. The first car commercial written, directed, edited entirely from home.


The new Honda car commercial has been made without leaving home. • This new ad piece takes #StayHome a step further, while showing to the world how an automotive brand can even adapt given the current events. • To make this possible, Honda UAE together with Memac Ogilvy, Dubai used a Honda Civic miniature car. Monday 6th April 2020. Since Covid-19 started, the activity of many brands has been significantly altered. One sector that is being affected is automotive. Brands are investing less on traditional advertising, while some are going completely dark. That is why, we felt that automotive brands should adapt as soon as possible. And how is it possible to create a car commercial when it’s impossible to go outside due to lockdowns? Honda UAE together with Memac Ogilvy Dubai found a way to craft the ad doing everything from home (written, directed, edited and watched), relating it back to #StayHome and using the Honda Civic. But not a regular Civic. For its new commercial, Trading Enterprises – Honda used a full-scale miniature car. The camera shots managed to fool the eye so that at all times you feel like you're watching a real car commercial. Throughout this piece we can read: “This might be the first car commercial to be written, directed, edited and watched entirely from home”. A message of adaptation, commitment and encouragement, showing what we can continue to do from home. Closing with "Until we drive again", the Japanese brand sends a message of desire to the world to drive again as soon as possible. With this piece, Honda UAE demonstrating everything we can still do through what seemed impossible: a car commercial made entirely from home. Part of the long-running "reassuringly expensive" campaign that started in 1982, "good doctor" premiered on British TV and in cinemas 20 years later, on 15 February 2002. The seventh ad in the long-running Stella Artois "reassuringly expensive" campaign 
The ad, produced by Lowe Lintas Partners in London, is the seventh piece in the Jean de Florette-inspired campaign. The 100-second spot, involves a doctor treating victims of cholera and being shunned by the villagers until a priest demands that he be given a Stella Artois. To achieve the ad’s characteristic weathered look, three copies of the film stock were graded separately to emphasize the grain of the film and the earthen tones of the subjects. The ad picked up a Cannes Gold Lion and a D&AD Silver for cinematography that year and was nominated in several other D&AD categories. The spot also picked up a Bronze at the IPA Effectiveness Awards in the same year, and has received several other accolades since.

"The brand worked with agency Herezie, Paris, to create #AmazonBingeShopping, a 24-hour initiative that coincided with the launch of season 2 of its original series, Jack Ryan, in November last year.
On its Twitter page, Amazon Prime Video​​​​​​​ invited viewers to identify objects that could be found on Amazon.fr that were also in Jack Ryan episodes.
