The Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards. And the winner is... Honda "Hands" -- Wieden+Kennedy/London


W+K created a film that aimed to show people in the UK how innovative and imaginative Honda were as an engineering company. W+K, with the help of Smith & Foulkes at Nexus productions, decided to capture their curious spirit with a film centered solely on the tinkering hands of a Honda engineer - meticulously and passionately flicking between cars, bikes, planes, robots & lawnmowers as though hard at work within the depths of Honda R+D.

Short of the day. We Wander

We Wander from Dvein on Vimeo.
A bunch of animals hide in the darkness of the night, motivated by their very own instinct, not feeling menaced by anything or anyone. But a light disturbs their peaceful rest, they feel troubled when their land is invaded and everything becomes unexpected. The Sun rises, the animals leave, the sun light baths the land and we keep wandering around, not knowing where and when we are and nothing matters anymore.

Ad of the day. Schwartz Flavour Shots | The Sound of Taste


New Schwartz Flavour shots, an innovative range of herb and spice blends locked in oil. For meals that taste amazing, simply add a shot to your pan along with your meat and a few store cupboard ingredients. Simmer and serve.

What does flavour look like? How does it sound? These are the questions that inspired
us to create what we describe as a 'Sonic Flavourscape'.

Several tons of black peppercorns, cardamom, turmeric, paprika, cumin seeds, ginger, chili
and coriander were rigged to explode in perfect sync with a bespoke musical composition.
Each explosion represents an individual piano note or chord, which when filmed at high
speed, creates a surreal three dimensional sound scape.

The project bought together an eclectic collective of creative collaborators. DJ/Producer
MJ Cole was approached to translate the sensation of taste into a musical composition.
Film maker Chris Cairns and pyrotechnic designers, 'Machine Shop', then went to work
turning this sound into a physical scale
